This kitchen is remarkable mainly for its very large (6’-0” x 4’0”) garden window set into the log walls of this traditional home in Quinlan, Texas.

The original kitchen was a small, dark hole without counter space or adequate cabinetry.  The new kitchen is light and expansive with Shaker cherry cabinets, slate counter tops, platinum trim strips, and a variegated slate floor.  We retained the traditional look, while introducing sufficient contemporary accents (through lighting and other details) to bring the kitchen up to date.
